American Journalist and host Charles Peete “Charlie” Rose, Jr. is most well known for hosting Charlie Rose, an interview show distributed nationally by PBS since 1993 and for co-anchoring CBS This Morning since 2012.
On Wednesday, he announced that he will be taking a break form CBS This Morning because he is in need of a open heart surgery– to replace a heart valve that was installed in 2005.
The surgery, which the 75-year-old newsman calls is ‘his choice,’ is scheduled to be this Thursday and he is planning to return to our TV screens in March.
We wish him all the best.
